NRNA global summit from Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA)’s 9th International Conference and General Convention is taking place in Kathmandu from Tuesday.

The international conference is convening under the joint aegis of the Government of Nepal, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and NRNA.

At a press meet organized here today to inform the public about the conference, NRNA Vice-Chair Kumar Pant shared that all preparation in connection with the conference was over. He further shared that the conference would focus on NRNA’s role in the country’s development.

The NRNA has pledged to play a role in imparting knowledge, skills and technology NRNA members learned for the economic development of the country. President Bidya Devi Bhandari is set to inaugurate the conference that will kick off with the slogan ‘I, My NRNA and My Nepal’

As many as 2,500 delegates from 81 countries are participating in the conference.

NRNA Chair Bhawan Bhatta said the conference would dwell on the agenda that could pave the way for the country towards prosperity.
