Indian tourist dies in Nepal

POKHARA: An elderly Indian man, who collapsed at a garden nearby KI Singh Bridge at Pokhara, was declared dead by the doctors at Fishtail Hospital in Pokhara on Saturday.

According to Gandaki State Police Office, Pokhara, Mumbai native 72-year-old Prabhudas Kanju Meher suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious at the garden.

Meher, who was traveling to Pokhara with his relatives, was rushed to the nearest health facility by his relatives where he was declared dead by the doctors while examining him, police said. Police have launched a probe into the incident, the Gandaki State Police said.
