‘Dalit’ deprived of drinking water over inter-caste marriage

BIRATNAGAR: There was a warm relationship between Musahar community and Magar
community at Sakhma Tole of Budhiganga Rural Municipality in Morang district.

Now their relationship has sourced following an inter-caste marriage,  a report in Kantipur daily said.

Sunny Rishidev, a school boy from Musahar community eloped with  Sirjana Thapa Magar on March 2 after appearing SEE.

Thapa family removed the tube-well, the only source of drinking water to the Musahar community. Following the removal of the tube-well, Musahar community has been deprived of drinking water.

The ward committee had fixed the tube-well in the settlement of Musahar community years ago.
