Police arrest gamblers along with Rs 360,000 cash

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 10 gamblers from Nagarjun and confiscated Rs 360,000 from them.

A team from the Metropolitan Police Circle Swoyambhu apprehended them on Tuesday night while they were playing a game of dice at Ichangunarayan of Nagarjun Municipality-3.

Chief of the Police Circle Swoyambhu, Deputy Superintendent Laldhwaj Subedi said the punters were arrested red-handed with a large amount as stake.

Police also confiscated 16 pieces of dices along with cash Rs 360,000.
