Alliance with NC cannot be ruled out: NCP Chair Dahal



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the possibilities of forging an alliance Nepali Congress (NC) still remains high.

Recalling the past alliance with Nepali Congress party, Dahal said possibilities of alliance cannot be ruled out in the future as well.

Speaking at the tea-reception organized by NC party on the occasion of Dashain, Tihar and Chhat festivals at the NC central office in Sanepa on Sunday, Dahal said the political parties would move forward according to the time and situation.

When asked to clarify his statement of a possible alliance with a government having a two-thirds majority, Dahal responded saying, “Let’s not talk about two-thirds majority now.”
