21 gamblers arrested with Rs 1.9 million cash

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police have arrested 21 people involved in illegal gambling. They were arrested along with Rs. 1.8 million.

A team from the Metropolitan Police Range in Boudha arrested them red-handed from the house of Norbu Lama in Kapan of Budhanilakantha municipality.

The arrest was made at 2:00 am early today, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Singh.

Further investigation is underway, while action will be initiated as per the law, DSP Singh said.
