Speaker Aryal vows impartial role, calls for fast-track lawmaking process



DHADING: Speaker Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal has expressed his commitment to work in a neutral and impartial manner in the interest of the country and its people.

Speaking at a press meet organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists in Malekhu today, he said he would uphold integrity and neutrality while contributing to the formulation and implementation of laws.

Speaker Aryal stated that he would place the country and its citizens at the center of his responsibilities as a facilitator in both new lawmaking and constitutional amendments. “It is my belief that development, prosperity, and happiness should not be delayed. I will work in a way that ensures everyone feels included in the process,” he said.

He also expressed his commitment to advancing the legislative process through a “fast-track” approach so that citizens can directly benefit from timely lawmaking.

Furthermore, he said he would continue to urge the government to expedite the implementation of the Budhigandaki watershed project.
