Identification of those killed in floods, landslides ascertained

KATHMANDU: At least 30 persons have lost their lives as monsoon rains lash the country triggering floods and landslides. 12 others have sustained injuries while 18 are missing.

Some 108 persons hit by floods and landslides have been rescued in Kathmandu, 10 in Udayapur, eight in Lalitpur, two each in Sindhuli and Siraha and one each in Bhaktapur, Sunsari and Makwanpur, police said.

Meanwhile, identities of those killed in floods and landslides have been ascertained.
