State 2 govt to provide 300,000 each to victim’s family



KATHMANDU: The State 2 government has announced a relief amount to the family of those killed in landslides and floods in the state.

An emergency meeting of Council of Ministers on Saturday decided to provide Rs 300,000 each to the victim’s family. Likewise, the meeting also decided to provide Rs one million each to the District Disaster Management Committee of each district.

Minister for Internal Affairs and Law and State government Spokesperson Gyanendra Yadav said that the state government was coordinating with the federal government to deploy chopper for rescue and relief operations.
