KATHMANDU: The vehicular shutdown enforced in Rasuwagadhi checkpoint, demanding permission to move to Kerung on rotation basis has been called off since Wednesday.
According to Arjun Bhandari, Chief District Officer, the vehicular disruption was called off through dialogue and consensus among political parties, protestors and security agency.
The consensus was forged to allow vehicles on queue to move to Kerung checkpoint on rotation. More than 100 vehicles which remained standby in Timure area on the way to Kerung now are seen plying to their destination, police informed.
