‘5 days to reach Singha Durbar from Sheetal Niwas’

KATHMANDU: The distance between the Office of the President Sheetal Niwas and Singha Durbar is just 5.2 kilometers. Google map shows that it does not take more than 17 minutes to cover it.

It’s hard to believe but true. It took five days for a letter to reach Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar from the Office of the President.

A letter on the daily administrative duties sent from the Office of President Bidya Devi Bhandari took as many as five days to arrive at the Office of Federal Parliament Secretariat, a report in Rajdhani daily said.

Earlier, a letter from Sheetal Niwas had reached Singha Durbar in a single day during the election of Prime Minister KP Oli and the program of his oath taking ceremony also was set on the same day.
