KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party chairmen KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal have agreed to  finalize long overdue  party unification process before the third week of March.

A proposal will be submitted in a secretariat meeting in a few days to this effect.

Chairman duo Oli and Dahal, who were in trouble after failing to strike a deal on unification of district and class-based organizations, came up with this agreement following a Chandragiri meeting held recenlty.

According to a party source, the works will be completed before March 23 (Baisakh 9) – the establishment day of NCP – to give message of unification to the people.
