Maruti Cement factory shut down over workers protest

LAHAN: Maruti Cement factory has been shut down due to the protest of the workers in the third consecutive day over the death of Anita Paswan.

The concerned family members have not received the body stating that Anita committed suicide due to negligence of the management site.

The body has been at Lahan hospital for the last three days.

Paswan, originally from Golbazaar Municipality-9, had committed suicide near the factory premises after the management fired her.

Anita was the member of All Nepal Industrial Workers Union.

Agitating staffers have been boycotting in a protest against the death of Anita, demanding due compensation and stringent action against the guilty.
