Husband attacks wife with knife ruthlessly

MORANG: A woman sustained injuries after being attacked by her husband with a knife.

According to District Police Office, Morang, 50-year-old Dambar Karki attacked his 35-year-old wife Sushma Karki with a knife over a minor dispute.

Sushma has received knife injuries to her head, neck, hands, said DSP Raj Kumar Khiuju.

Seriously injured Sushma is undergoing treatment at Nobel Teaching Hospital.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking assailant Dambar into custody.
