Snowfall and rain forecast until Saturday: MFD



KATHMANDU: The temperature has gone down in the country including the Kathmandu Valley with the westerly winds entering into Nepal.

Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast snowfall and heavy rain in highlands including Humla district and some hilly parts of the western region.  The normal life has been affected in Simikot due to snowfall.

This sort of weather will continue until the coming Saturday, according to MFD.

Snowfall and light rain are occurring in highlands and some hilly regions of the western part of the country, said meteorologist Manju Basi.

Hence, tourists are advised to take precautions and not to trek until the next three days.
