TIA resumes operation after 8 hrs



KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) resumed operation from 7 pm on Friday evening; eight hours later it was closed.

The country’s only international airport halted landings and take-offs after an aircraft of Yeti Airlines skidded off the runway and reached grass field at 11:05 am this morning.

The aircraft was towed to the hangar to resume the airport.
