Prime Minister’s new residence to cost 400 mln



KATHMANDU: A new official residence for the prime minister is being built in the next two years.

The government is making preparations to construct two buildings by breaking down the existing building.

The estimated cost for construction of the two building is Rs 400 million, according to a report in Naya Patrika.

The Department of Urban Development and Building Construction is calling for quotation today.

The architectural design has been done Aju Design Company while its structural design has been done by Craft Design Company. The construction will begin the coming fiscal year 2019/20.
