FNJ holding interaction on Media Council Bill

KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) is holding an interaction on the proposed Media Council Bill with legal and media experts, editors and its former office-bearers.

The interaction has been slated for 3 pm at FNJ headquarters.

The umbrella body of the Nepali journalists had unveiled a protest plan against the Bill saying that it aims to clamp down on independent journalists and establish the proposed media council as a government-controlled body.
