KATHMANDU: The construction of the much-hyped Kathmandu View Tower has become uncertain after the main investor decided to walk out of the project.

British Gurkha soldiers living in Singapore have asked the construction company Jaleshwor Swachchhanda Bkoi Builders to refund their investment, pushing the project into uncertainty, Naya Patrika Daily reported.

It is to be noted that the company had constructed illegal shutters at Khula Manch which were later bulldozed following a public outcry.
