Motorcyclist killed in Banepa road mishap

KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist died after being hit a truck at Bhaisipati Chowk, Banepa along the Araniko Highway on Friday.

According to police, Ganesh Lama, 28, of Dhulikhel-9, Patlekhola died after the motorcycle, Ba 79 Pa 9388, he was riding was hit by the truck, Na 3 Kha 6783.

Pillion rider Yasodha Hamal was injured in the mishap. SP Raviraj Khadka at District Police Office, Kavre said the injured is being treated at Dhulikhel Hospital.

Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.
