FNJ unveils 3rd phase protest against Media Council Bill

KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Tuesday unveiled the third phase of protest against the Media Council Bill.

As per the protest plan, signatures will be collected against the Bill on June 18, the signatures will be submitted to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli through District Administration Offices on June 21 and a cartoon exhibition will be organized on June 25.

Likewise, as per the fresh protest plan, press freedom assemblies will be organized on July 5, lantern rallies on July 10 and whistle rallies on July 15.
