KATHMANDU: A two-day international conference organized by Tribhuvan University has endorsed a 17-point declaration letter on Monday.

The new the directive has expressed commitment to keep multi-genre texts and provide teachers right to self-determination in the curriculum.

According to the declaration, the TU will collaborate with the renowned international universities, include important internationally acclaimed texts in the syllabus and prioritize research among others.

A total of 167 professor including 17 from renounced professors were present in the educational conference.
