Youths of Sarlahi burn Xi’s effigy



SARLAHI: Local youths of Kaewana of Sarlahi district on Sunday burnt the effigy of Chinese President Xi Jinping protesting that China encroached some parts of Mt Everest and other parts of Nepal.

The youths shouted anti-China slogans saying ‘Go Back Xi’ while burning Xi’s effigy.

They have warned of further escalating the protests if the Chinese side does not return the encroached upon land to Nepal.
