KATHMANDU: The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country today. Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds and lightning likely to occur at some places of the eastern and central regions and at a few places of the western region, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

The thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is expected at some some places in eastern, central and the western region tonight.

The maximum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley was 31.8 degree Celsius and minimum temperature  18.5 degree Celsius yesterday. Highest temperature was recorded in Dhangadhi with 40.2 degree Celcius while the highest temperature was at 27.7 degree Celsius, said MFD.
