KATHMANDU: Nepal has won a silver medal in women’s handball in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games.
In the final match held at the covered hall on the Pokhara stadium premises today, Nepal was confined to a silver after losing to India by 21-36.
India defended the gold medal, that it also won in the 12th SAG at home while Nepal improves to reach the second position after the fourth in the previous SAG.
Bangladesh finished third to win the bronze medal after defeating Pakistan 31-15.
