KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has stressed research to promote the tourism sector.
He argued that the sector was not achieving success as much as expected for lack of research activities. Speaking in an interaction organized by Barbara Foundation in the capital today, Minister said that effective plans and programs were not being implemented in the absence of concrete research.
He opined for preparing the research based documents to highlight the tourism destinations. Minister Bhattarai also stressed the need to develop the cultural and religious circuit recognizing the appropriate sites to promote religious and cultural tourism.
