Canada city buses promote Visit Nepal-2020

KATHMANDU: City buses in Canada buses have been promoting Visit Nepal 2020 in some major cities of Canada.

The promotion campaign has been initiated under the leadership of Nar Bahadur Tondon, honorary representative of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in Canada.

Around 10 city buses being operated at Mississauga in Canada are showcasing images of Nepal’s tourism destinations such as Mount Everest, Pashupatinath Temple, Pokhara, Lumbini, Khaptad area, Nepal’s living goddess Kumari, Badimalika and Api Saipal mountain, according to Bimala Sapkota, a Nepali campaigner residing in Canada.

Tondon said the publicity campaign will be conducted through city buses in Mississauga, Toronto and Brampton for more than two months.

According to him, the publicity of Nepal’s major tourism destinations would contribute to Nepal Visit Year-2020.

He has also been urging Canadian people to visit Nepal in 2020.
