BAJURA: Locals of Budhinanda, Bajura have destroyed the menstrual hut (Chaupadi goth) at the Budhinanda Municipality, Ward No. 4. Women of the western region of the country are compelled to sleep in the huts throughout their menstrual cycle.
During the period, they have little contact with other members of the family and even lack minimal health facilities.
