Infrastructure construction for tourism development: DPM Pokhrel



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has said the government has prioritized infrastructure construction for tourism development.

He stated that the government has accorded importance to the development of tourism, which he claimed has been a base.

Inaugurating the 46th annual general assembly (AGM) of the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) on Thursday in Kathmandu, he said the government has been making all efforts to make the ‘Visit Nepal Year, 2020’ a success.

On a different note, he said that the upcoming budget for the new fiscal year would be announced in accordance with the government’s policy and programs for the fiscal year 2019/20.
