KATHMANDU: The Boudha Trade Association and the local residents of Boudha have obstructed the Chabahil-Sankhu road section. They took to street in a protest against the delay in the blacktopping of the under-construction road.

As a result, the area has been pushed into chaos. The locals have demanded the road section be blacktopped immediately to get them rid of the dust pollution.

Expansion work of the 11.46-kilometer road began in October 2015 but the contractors have been delaying the work under various pretext. Almost four years later, the road still remains incomplete.
