One killed, six injured in Jajarkot jeep plunge

JAJARKOT: A child was killed and six others were injured when a jeep veered off and fell some 40 meters down the road at Naalgad Municipality-10, Darimpata on Tuesday.

The deceased is identified as four-year-old Bibek Nepali of Aathbiskoth Municipality-11.

According to police, the jeep, Ga 1 Ja 5812, was heading to Tallubagar from Khalanga when the mishap happened.

Among the injured, two are said to be in critical condition.
