Minister Nemwang says contractors delaying projects will face action

BUTWAL: Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Basanta Nembang has warned of action if the contractors failed to accomplish development activities on time.

He said that the contractors failing to complete the projects would be identified and grilled.

Minister Nembang also said that the contractors delaying the projects and avoiding responsibilities would have the agreement suspended.

According to him, the government has taken seriously the delayed construction of Lumbini-Bhairahawa roadway.

He also instructed all concerned to complete at least blacktopping of one way Bhairahawa-Lumbini road by the end of December.

“The tourists coming to Lumbini in Visit Year 2020 should not be hassled for the inconvenience of transport,” he said.
