PM Oli stresses on building a cultured, civilized society



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has urged all sections of the society to move ahead towards building a cultured and civilized society together with attaining prosperity for the country.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of Bada Dashain on Tuesday, PM Oli said that the Nepalis people have moved on the journey of prosperity following the conclusion of the movement for attaining political rights.

Stating that the people should be focus to develop a civilized, humane, cultured, peaceful, friendly, and educated society along with prosperity, PM Oli said it is equally important that the people need to pay their attention to this aspect as well.

He said that the Dashain festival has been fostering cordial social relations and harmony. PM Oli also urged all Nepali living in and outside the country to celebrate Dashain and other festivals in a healthy way.

Maintaining that Dashain is the festival of unity, he termed it as a festival of reunion and urged one and all to celebrate it in a grand manner.

The Prime Minister has also urged people to pay attention to friendship, health, social peace while celebrating Dashain stating that the festival should promote love, goodwill and care in the family, and neighborhood.

He further emphasized that festivals should not be extravagant and wished that Dashain would inspire all to fulfilling the national the campaign of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.
