Landslide obstructs Karnali Highway

KARNALI: A landslide triggered by incessant rains since Friday has obstructed the Karnali Highway at Tilagufa municipality-7.

Hundreds of vehicles traveling between Surkhet, Jumla, and Nepalgunj have been stranded.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyam Babu Oli said efforts are underway to clear the debris.

According to him, two dozers have been deployed in the site.
