KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has authenticated two bills.

The President authenticated Bill for Amending the Commission on Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons Act, 2071 and Bill for Amending the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act, 2071 on Friday.

The bills were recently endorsed by the federal parliament and sent to the Office of the President for authentication.

President Bhandari authenticated the bills in line with Article 113 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, said the Office of the President.
