Mahara says his health condition deteriorating

KATHMANDU: Outgoing Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, currently serving judicial custody for allegedly raping a female employee at Parliament Secretariat, has said that his health condition has started deteriorating.

Mahara who is currently at Dillibazar Jail has been telling people who had reached to meet him that his health condition has started deteriorating with each passing day.

Chief Whip of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Dev Gurung reached the jail on Thursday to meet Mahara.

Gurung told Khabarhub that Mahara briefed him about his health condition.

“He shared of increase in blood pressure and cholesterol level,” Gurung said.

Gurung said that Mahara has been mulling to file an application at Patan High Court.
