State govt to bear treatment cost of windstorm victims



DHANGADI: The state government has announced to bear all the treatment expenses of those injured by the windstorm in Kalali and Kanchanpur district.

Sudurpaschim State Spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Prakash Bahadur Shah holding a press conference on Friday announced the decision.

Two people were killed and 109 were injured as the windstorm lashed out far-west districts on Thursday evening. Among the injured, 15 of Kanchanpur and 66 of Kalali have returned home following treatment.

Windstorm has halted electricity, drinking water and telephone among other services in the districts.
