Govt. transfers two AIGs

KATHMANDU: The government has transferred Nepal Police’s two Additional Inspectors General.

AIG Pushkar Karki and Dhiru Basnyat have been transferred as per the cabinet decision on April 30.

Karki has been transferred to the Nepal Police Academy, Maharajgunj, while Basnyat has been transferred to Secretariat of National Security Council, Singha Durbar. Earlier, Basnyat was posted at Nepal Police Academy and Karki at Police Headquarters.

Similarly, the government on Monday transferred six senior superintendents of police (SSP) including Uttam Raj Subedi, who served as the spokesperson of the Nepal Police.
