Gaurika Singh bags second gold for Nepal in swimming



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Gaurika Singh has won another gold medal in swimming under the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SAG), 2019.

Singh bagged a gold medal under 200 meters backstroke event on Friday. She clocked 2 minutes 17 seconds and 73 microseconds.

Gaurika on Thursday had bagged the gold medal in the 200-meter freestyle, completing it in 2 minutes 5 seconds and 6 microseconds.

Nepal’s gold medal tally has reached 41 with the gold from Singh.
