Home Ministry directs to probe SSP Rana accused of sexual charges

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has sent a letter to the Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal to carry out investigation into SSP Saurav Rana accused of alleged rape charges.

A woman from Dharan had filed a case against SSP Rana accusing him of sexually harassing her.

Rana has been working at a federal police unit in Dharan for the last three years.

Nepal Police headquarters said it received the letter and has started investigating the case.
