Prime Minister with Youth program in the offing

KATHMANDU: The National Youth Council is organizing the ‘Prime Minister with Youth’ program to apprise the Head of the Government about the issues related to youths.

Council Vice-Chairman Madhav Dhungel said the ‘Prime Minister with the Youth’ program is to be organized to inform the Prime Minister about the policy-related problems of youths of all sectors from the single forum by directly talking to the Prime Minister.

The Council will identify the problems of the youths after consulting with youths working in industry, politics, agriculture, non-governmental organizations, and science and technology sectors as well as with foreign employment returnee youths.

“The problem identified through discussions with the youths from several sectors would be put before the Prime Minister in the same forum. The Prime Minister will also respond to the problems in the same forum,” Dhungel said.

He added that the goal of the program is to hold direct discussions with the Prime Minister for the youth policy reformation.

About 50 youths representing various sectors will participate in the program at a designated venue. The program will be organized in the coming Magh.
