Consuming food haphazardly can invite many health issues. Here are some tips on you can stay healthy during the Dashain festival.

1. As Dashain is all about the feast, consuming foods haphazardly can result in food poisoning. Take care while storing and consuming food items, especially dairy and meat products.

2. Consuming too many meat products causes heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure and cancer among other ailments. So, consume meat products in a limit.

3. Consuming too much alcohol can severely damage the liver and kidney among other body parts.
4. Make sure you will use minimal use of oil, ghee, and spices.

5. Dairy products should be store below -4 degrees Celsius and raw meat below minus 20-30 degrees Celsius.
