‘The United States is evil — don’t go there’: China

BEIJING: ‘The United States is evil — don’t go there,’ China warns her people.  The Government of China has issued two new travel alerts for her citizens heading to the US.

This new travel advice has a history behind it. State media has ramped up its attack on United States by sharpening its rhetoric. China’s ruling Communist Party has launched a trade war propaganda campaign delivered via state media.

The world’s two largest economies are sparring over worsening state of trade-war between them in recent years. The US administration raised tariffs from 10% to 25% on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods on May 10, and later accused Chinese technology giant Huawei spying in United Sates through its latest mobile phone gadgets.

In response, China also increased tariffs on $60 billion worth of US goods last Saturday. China has also threatened United States to slap other “necessary countermeasures.” (Agencies)
