Deliberations on policies and programs begins in NA

KATHMANDU: Deliberations on the government’s policies and programs for the next fiscal year begun in the National Assembly (NA) from Monday.

In today’s meeting of the NA, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented the proposal to commence deliberations on the government policies and programs for fiscal year 2019/20.

At the beginning of the deliberations, major opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentarian Radheshyam Adhikari said that the government should be ready to consider an amendment proposal submitted by the NC to revise the proposed policies and programs from 3 to 215 points.

Other lawmakers too aired their views on the policies and programs.
