US Assistant Secretary meets CoAS Thapa



KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Purna Chandra Thapa on Thursday met Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Randall G. Schriver in Kathmandu.

At the courtesy that meeting was held at Nepal Army (NA) Headquarters, discussions were held on disaster management capacity of the national army, role played by NA in world peacekeeping and assistance between NA and US Army.

Earlier today, Schriver met with Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Defense Ishwor Pokharel.
