KATHMANDU: A total of Rs 254,688 has been spent for the treatment of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli who underwent surgery and treatment at the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre.
The amount was billed for appendicitis surgery and treatment at the center located at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) premises for 10 days.
PM Oli, who had gone to the TUTH on November 26 for a checkup, underwent an operation for appendicitis the same day after he needed an immediate operation. PM Oli also underwent dialysis for his kidney.
Hospital’s Director Uttam Krishna Shrestha said the bill has been issued in the name of the government.
