KATHMANDU: The Revenue Investigation Department Lalitpur has filed a case of revenue evasion against the proprietors of a construction engineering company.

The Nepal Donghawa Construction Engineering company proprietors have been charged with evading tax worth 131.3 million rupees.

The case was filed at the District Court Kathmandu today against Chinese citizens Yang Ling, She Syang, We Degui and Nepali national Subin Shrestha. The RID has charged them of using the fake receipts to embezzle the amount. Along with a penalty worth the embezzled amount, the RID has also sought three years of imprisonment, according to its Director Dirgha Raj Mainali.

The RID had carried out an investigation against the accused and their financial activities for the past eight months.
