KATHMANDU: A person died while two others sustained injuries in a fire that broke out in a three-story building belonging to Dharma Maharjan in Lazimpat on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Bhesh Bahadur Thapa. Similarly, 32-year-old Bibek Shahi and his wife 25-year-old Ganga Shahi of Rajapur, Bardiya sustained injuries.

They are undergoing treatment at TU Teaching Hospital, said Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.
