Ministry prioritizing enforcement of fiscal federalism: Minister Khatiwada

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada has said the Ministry of Finance has been prioritizing the implementation of fiscal federalism.

Answering to queries raised by lawmakers on Sunday, the minister said that the Economic Procedure and Fiscal Responsibility Bill, 2075 was brought to make fiscal federalism effective.

According to him, the bill aims to make the budget more transparent and result-oriented allocated for government projects.
