BANEPA: A person died when a Scorpio jeep hit a motorbike in Banepa this morning, police said.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Rabin Thapa of Banepa-12. Thapa, who was seriously injured in the accident, breathed his last while undergoing treatment in a hospital.
His bike (Ba 57 Pa 9469) was heading towards Sanga from Banepa when a Scorpio jeep (Ba 1 Cha 8112) coming from the opposite direction hit the bike.
The pillion rider, Sabin Thapa got injured in the accident. Police arrested the jeep driver.
